Courtesy of the Sky At Night magazine, we are showing three Web talks (on three separate Friday club nights in March, April and May) which look at Astro-photography using a DSLR.
This is the second, and focuses on getting amazing Milky Way photos with your DSLR. As Andrew advised in the Chairman’s newsletter, we have moved the talk into the Cabin so that those that don’t want to watch this can use the main Clubhouse for socialising etc.
The video will start from 7.30pm for the main talk and will then pause for 15 minutes for a break/refreshments, it will then resume for the final Q&A part to allow anyone that is interested to view this.

Masterclass 2: The Milky Way, with Mary McIntyre
In this talk we look at capturing our home Galaxy arcing across the sky at its full extent, and also how to home in for more close-up shots of detail in the Milky Way’s packed starfields. Mary McIntyre explains the lenses that are best suited to these tasks and the effects that different mounting options can bring to your Milky Way photography.
