Mark Thompson will be giving ‘An Introduction to Stargazing’ no doubt revealing some excerpts from the Online Stargazing for Beginners course (see MARK THOMPSON – STEM Broadcaster and Author (markthompsonastronomy.com)

The talk will be held at the Seething Observatory on Saturday 2nd September 2023

This is going to be a FREE event at the Norwich Astronomical Society to start the new season of Public talks.

The first talk will start at 7:00 pm, the second at 8:00 pm and if there is sufficient interest we will add a third talk at 9:00 pm

The observatory facilities will be open, and assuming the weather permits telescopes will be pointing into the nigh sky.

Please reserve your seats for the 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm talks.

We will only add a 9:00 pm talk if the earlier events fill up.
