Colleagues,

In order to celebrate the 80th aniversary of the Society we will be holding a bring and share party at the observatory to coincide with the Perseid meteor shower.

The peak of meteor activity is 12th August, but obviously needs clear skies which are now forecast for Fridays 8th, so we will be going ahead with the Party on this date.

If 8th is cancelled because of the weather, we will move to the 15th instead.

The celebration is for members and their families.
